I've been in love with digital art since I got my first computer back in 1990 (when I was 10 years old) and it came with a program called Deluxe Paint 2. By today's standards, Deluxe Paint 2 would be considered incredibly basic--even MS Paint can do more now than it could then--but at the time, it was quite nice, and more than adequate for my initial explorations of creating artwork with little squares of light.

All these years later, I still consider myself primarily a digital artist, though I've graduated to much more advanced ways of pushing pixels around the screen (my current poisons of choice are Painter IX and occassionally Photoshop CS, and of course my beloved Wacom Intuos3 tablet).
