I tend to paint people more often than animals, but there are a few animals that keep demanding to be painted. Cats are the obvious ones--I've lived with cats all my life and I honestly have no idea how anyone lives without them.

As a fantasy artist, there are also the obligatory creatures such as dragons and unicorns (which I'm classifying as animals because it's my website and I can). Other animals pop in my work from time to time, too (somewhere in this gallery you'll find a happy little flying koi and a terrified baby bluebird about to be eaten by a giant fire ant).
