I made this necklace for my aunt Jackie, who loves flowers, pastel colors, and delicate, feminine things. My initial concept for the necklace just didn't work, so I spent a good two weeks fiddling with it on and off. I'd spend two hours making some part of it, only to realized afterward that what I'd just done just didn't look right, or hang right, or balance right, or something, and I'd have to spend another two hours trying to fix it. I'm actually quite pleased with the final result, but I don't think I'll be making another one like it anytime soon.
