Done for Inktober a few years ago—the prompt was “Disgusting.” I thought of a few things that would qualify as “disgusting,” but most of them weren’t things I actually wanted to draw. One theme that kept coming up, though, was the idea of rot, decay, and death, and I thought this would be the perfect excuse to practice drawing the human skull…with sickly green mushrooms…in a slimy pea-soup-green puddle.
